Joe Abercrombie's THE BLADE ITSELF US cover art

As you can see, Pyr only did a few subtle changes. Which is quite all right, for the original Gollancz cover is gorgeous!

For those of you who can't wait till next fall but can't afford the international shipping charges, you can get a galley of The Blade Itself at Book Expo America, next weekend in New York. Sort of a sneak peek of Abercrombie's debut! Check Pyr's blog for more info.

I'm glad to see they didn't change too much, as The Blade Itself and its sequel have some of my favourite covers of the past few years!

I can't wait to dig into this as soon as I'm done David Anthony Durham's Acacia!

I'm glad the cover still looks good. Actually I'm just anxiously awaiting being able to buy the dang thing without getting strange looks when I say that the other 'The Blade Itself' book isn't the right one!
